Janice joined the amazing Scott Montgomery, the terrific folks at Book People and some great friends on Wednesday, June 19th at 7:00 in the evening for beer, wine, and snacks – oh, and talking about her new book DEATH RIDES AGAIN. It was amazing!
Chills, laughs, and a lot of Texas. Join Janice Hamrick, Ben Rehder, and Reavis Z. Wortham as they discuss To Wit: Texas Mysteries with a Sense of Humor. These three authors combine suspense and humor to tell the kind of smart, wicked mysteries that could only be set in Texas. Moderator Scott Montgomery is the crime fiction coordinator for BookPeople’s MysteryPeople. He also writes for Crimespree magazine, The Weekly Lizard blog, and has moderated panels at Bouchercon, the world’s largest mystery conference.

Join Janice Hamrick at this year’s Bouchercon World Mystery Convention taking place in St. Louis, Missouri. Janice will be speaking on a panel called “Sharp Compassion – Finding the Humanity in Crime.”
The book signing at The Poisoned Pen, Pheonix’s premier mystery bookstore, was a wonderful event. Food, beautiful photos from Barbara’s Egyptian trip, and lots of great personal anecdotes about Egypt and tour groups! The event took place September 3, 2011. Many, many thanks to the great folks at the Poisoned Pen.

Thanks to all who attended the launch party for Death on Tour at Book People in Austin. The event took place on Sunday, May 29th at 12:00 as part of Texas Mystery Month. Janice Hamrick spoke about her upbringing in Kansas, her trip to Egypt, and her experiences during the publishing process.
